We offer classes for adults and children.  Learn from a real working artist in a real gallery setting.  Both ongoing and workshop options are available.  Learn something new, have fun, and enrich your life
  • Art Stars April Class

    Art StarsWednesdays in April (Grades 1-6)
    April 5, 12, 19, & 26 4:30-5:30pm

    Monthly class series led by local artist and visual arts educator Rachael Brown includes drawing, painting, printmaking and collage. Lessons are inspired by rotating works in the gallery and will introduce a variety of techniques and materials.

  • Ready, Set, PRINT! - Printmaking workshop

    Ready, Set, PRINT!
    Thursdays in April (Grades 7-12)
    April 6, 13, 20, & 27 4:30-5:30pm

    This monthly workshop series is led by local artist and visual arts educator Rachael Brown. This workshop focuses on relief printmaking and the process of drafting successful compositions, transferring onto printing plates, and creating an edition of artist prints. Lessons are inspired by rotating works in the gallery. A focus is on process and mastering the printmaking materials. All materials are included and students will leave with a portfolio of prints.

    Let your Art Star learn new skills, have fun with art-enthused kids, and grow their creativity with a real artist in a real art gallery!  Creative siblings, cousins, and friends are welcome too.

    Class fee: $120 (includes everything)

    **if you are signing up 2 students at the same time your class fee will be discounted by 10% for the 2nd student

  • Relief Printmaking - Adult Workshop

    Relief Printmaking
    Adult 3rd Saturday Workshop
    Saturday April 15 & 16 9-10:45am

    Local artist Rachael Brown will lead a two-day printmaking workshop that guides us through the history and process of relief printmaking. We will learn about successful compositions and mark making techniques and be guided by hands on demonstrations to create a series of prints. Each student will leave with their own carved printmaking plate and a portfolio of finished prints. This workshop is suitable for all ages and skill sets, however, sharp carving tools will be used. All materials are included and pre-registration is required.

    Have fun, learn something new, and make your own hand pulled prints with a real artist in a real art gallery!  Come on your own or bring a few friends
