Mural at Exhibit B Gallery in Souderton by Kyle Confehr

Mural about the history of our building

In July, 2022 we commissioned Kyle Confehr to paint a small mural highlighting our building's history as well as a few special nods to our personal life. Kyle included images relating to the building's original 1901 use as Pent Bros Cigar Factory. Around the great depression it became His Nibs shirt factory. Later uses include the Dutch Kitchen restaurant, a pinball/pool hall, a juke box museum, and home to North Penn Amusements. It's most recent (and greatest iteration yet) is Exhibit B Gallery as well as studio space for Boiler Room Studios and Harry Boardman Studio.

Other images within the mural include our amazing dog Crusher, nods to art making, the ever-present trucks going by, unicorns, and a hand with a nail in it (a great construction story!). Kyle also added some wonderful fun images which you'll find in much of his work. Kyle created something we're so excited about while being a complete pleasure to work with. His career is on fire and had a show in the notable Michener Museum at the time of this mural's creation. He told me the lines which create a border are something he tried for the 1st time here and hopes to include in many future works.
